Ohmygracious. Y’all’ve (that means *you all have* …… ahem) heard me talk about Texas Bloggers, a group on Facebook. Well, this fall (Sept 8 to be exact), we’re meeting *in person* at A Piece of Work in Fort Worth. I’m really looking forward to meeting these wonderful bloggers ~ yes Mom, I met these people on the Internet (GASP!!!!) ~ and drink wine while painting something on canvas. Now, I fully disclose that I can’t draw a straight line with a ruler. However, everyone (Texas Bloggers and the folks from A Piece of Work) assure me that artistic ability is NOT required. They told me to bring my favorite wine, a smile on my face, and a willing spirit. Wine …. smile …. and a willing spirit? Oh, I got this!!!!!!!!!
A Piece of Work provides step-by-step instructions by experienced artists so participants can create a unique masterpiece. fyi: I can follow directions, and replicate demonstrations too, … this is sounding better and better!!! All paint and materials are included in the $40 registration fee, plus complimentary soft drinks are available. Participants may also bring alcoholic beverages (if you’re 21 and over, of course) and snacks too. For the Texas Bloggers event, our lovely hostesses ~ Taylor @ Goings on in Texas, Sarah @ City Girl Gone Country, and Julie @ A Beautiful Day ~ are coordinating this event and providing snacks for everyone to enjoy. They are the bee’s knees.
