get your read on

Instead of the standard, normal, usual TYPED blog post, I’m going in a different direction and sharing a different kind of post …

… and extending a personal, handwritten invitation to all of you:

book1

book2

There you have it …. a hand-written, personal invitation to a bloggers’ book swap this month! To sign-up for the book swap, click HERE. Do it quick, though, because books close (haha, get it?) this Friday SATURDAY, Jan 12.

If books aren’t your thing but you like my hand-written post, consider the PEN TO PAPER link-up event on January 23.

While you’re here, did you take my poll? I’d really appreciate your input on future blog posts. It’ll only take a moment of your time, I promise. Thanks!

  1. This is a really cool idea. I am becoming a master swapper over on swap-bot.com. I’d sign up for this if I had the time. I have two books to review for websites by end of the month, and short stories to write for competitions. I’ll catch you on the next round!
By the way, how do you find these cool blog events?! :)

    • Well, first of all, I understand busy schedules. Second, I created the link-up on 12.12.12 (Dec 12, 2012) and the upcoming *PEN TO PAPER* on Jan 23 in honor of National Handwriting Day and John Hancock’s birthday, just something fun to do something different with the blog. As for the bloggers’ book swap, I was invited to co-host this event. Opportunities I’m definitely thankful for. =)

  2. Your hand-drawn invitation is amazing. WOW!

    • Awww, thanks Amanda. I have absolutely ZERO-ZILCH-NADA talent in graphic design but at least I have nice handwriting!!! I’m in awe of people who can manifest designs from their imagination onto paper and the computer screen. I’ll keep working on my writing, photography, and preparing meals that make your mouth water. And being sweeter than my own sweet tea. I know where my gifts are stronger, and I’ll let the others keep shining! HAHA (p.s. your new blog design makes me swoon with its adorable-ness. Seriously. Cute.)
